Anyone got some recommendations for late 1990s-mid 2000s anime that are relatively unpopular?
This and Photon, for example, I ended up enjoying many, many times more than I expected.

This is certainly unpopular, but it also sucks. Or well, maybe that's a bit harsh but it's one of those experimental one shot OVAs that seemed like maybe they wanted to expand it into something more, so it has this horrible ending and never got any followup.
