I don't think they had a particular glove in mind when they designed them. That said, they look like "butler" or "white dress" gloves with a medium long cuff folded up.

I searched for white gloves with cuffs in image search and found these

Apparently I'm not the only person to think they look like Hellsing character gloves as the eBay lister advertizes them as such.
