So ive recently been wanting to root my phone so i can use my controller with my emulators but i dont want to brick my phone.
Is there a way to work around rooting it, or is there a way to root it danger free?
I have very limited access to a pc so any way that doesn't need one helps a bunch too.

The only issue with rooting on any phones is maybe triggering a "unsecured" boot screen or stopping updates on some devices.
This isn't iPhones, rooting doesn't brick.
Bootloader unlocking and flashing bricks.
Just keep googling.

It is completely impossible to brick an iPhone, because the DFU bootloader is in mask ROM and unoverwritable.
Sad iPhone === boot plugged into iTunes holding both buttons === happy iPhone.
