I found this poem from when I was 14. My quixotic and emotional poem felt so deep at the time. Now I read it to my friends with utmost sincerity to much hilarity.
Now, I have committed to perform more poetry at a public event. There will be serious performers doing music, poetry, and dance, but I will come in and rock some heartfelt, emo poetry from highschool and middle school with utmost seriousness. It will be epic.
