Hey I got new RAM and my computer can't see it after installing (it meets all the requirements of my motherboard). The BIOS have not been updated for a very long time, and there's a more current BIOS update available.

Could updating the BIOS allow the PC to see and utilize the RAM properly? Thanks pic unrelated

- Did you double check to make sure the RAM is seated properly?
- Did you put them into their proper slots on your mobos RAM slots?
- Are you SURE that the RAM you have is compatible with your mobo?
