My PC is not working. It doesnt look like the usb ports are fucked as they were working earlier today. Then i installed a new fan and this is the error i get. I have run without front usb plugged into mother board and still same error. I have tried removing and reinserting the battery. Pls /wrs/ your my last hope.

Sounds like you've covered it all off, I have a HP xw6800 that had exactly the same fault till the front ports were disconnected. Now the fucker whinges at me because "Front I/O not detected, F1 to continue"
I'm guessing something on the mainboard has fucked out, perhaps the regulator which privides the +5v line, perhaps the chipset that is supposed to be monitoring current on the ports. Do you have a BIOS option to disable all ports?
