I had a friend help with my PC before I was familiar with hardware, and I'm looking for the exact name of these parts. They attracts to the side of a hard drive in order for them to slide in. The chassis fits 3.5in drives

hard drive bay. Or hard drive bay adapters is what you are looking for. That particular image has a pair of hard drive bay rails.

hard drive mounting bracket rails

They're called "drive rails".

Don't lose them, because they're not in the slightest bit standardised.

I'd tape them up out of the way inside the case if I were you.

Op here, my drive slot is 3.5 inches and the drive I am installing is 3.5 inches. Is there another thing I could use to install it? Maybe like a bracket?

Who made your case? It'd be a lot easier to help you if you were more proactive with information like this.

This is going to sound really stupid but where would it say it is? As I said a friend made the computer for me a while ago and that's when I was computer retarded so I know little about it
