I've been considering it, how good is it compared to Photoshop? I'd assume it wouldnt be as robust since it is free, but times are changing; many things that are free are fantastic

If you're looking for photo editing, >39598 has got you handled with GIMP. But if you wanna do some drawing shit, then Krita is another open source software alternative to Photoshop.
