I can't torrent with my shitty ISP, and I'm fiending for some music.
It may be a long-shot here, but does anyone know where I could download the whole Roky Erickson discography? Or maybe the new boxed-set (if it's out yet)? - Or maybe a discography of The Dicks too?
And on a more general note - so I don't have to beg in the future (and can maybe help others) - where is a good place/site/forum to get direct-download links to older rock, underground stuff, psychedelic, punk, industrial, etc. - hell, even blue-grass and folk - y'know, non-Top-40-radio swill? All I've ever found on-line was hip-hop - and a couple of new releases from big, Top-40 bands long ago.
