Trying to remember the name of this one movie I saw a while ago. The only thing I can clearly remember is one scene where the characters took shelter within a gas station for the night, and the alien(?) appeared. Sent a tentacle appendage in to search, can't remember if it attacked or not. The characters looked back after leaving the station, and the alien(?) was a large tentacled creature with bright red glowy bits that loomed over the gas station's roof.
