I'm looking for a movie I watched in about 2008, It is the story of some Greek warriors that travel across the land fighting mythical creatures. One of the scenes is when all the soldiers are stuck in a cave with a giant Cyclops, they sharpen a giant wooden tree and poke his eye cover themselves in sheep wool and run out of the cave with the sheep please help.
The story is definitely from the iliad, don't know about the movie though.

Almost every film or tv miniseries adaptation of The Odyssey will include that scene.
I'd recommend googling a list of Odyssey adaptations and checking the ones from before 2008 for anything familiar.
