Where the fuck do i plug this in and what does it do? I plugged in the sata part of the cable and it didnt do shit. The thing wont turn on.

That's a slim optical drive. I'd say it was for a laptop, but the molex connector suggests otherwise. What you're holding there is just the power; you'll need to connect the data pins as well for it to work.
Yea its a cd drive. The connecter im showing has two prongs by the way.

yes, that's a molex power connector. There will probably be a sata connector to the left of where that connects to the drive; you'll need to plug that in to use it.

The molex connector doesn't plug into your motherboard; it plugs into your PSU. You may or may not have the correct connector on said PSU; if it's modular, you likely do, but if it just has a pigtail you may well not have the relevant cable. Can you take a picture of it?

Yep, one of the two linear 4pin connectors will work. They're keyed, so you can't get it backwards; just hook that to the connector in the OP, sata to motherboard, and you're good to go.
