What is a good video player for anime with a lot of typesetting (like Commie subs)? I currently use MPC-HC, but it tends to freeze up during typeset heavy scenes.
The freezing is probably on your computers end and not MPC, but you can always try out CCCP and MPV and see if you get better performance.

I remembered reading somewhere on /a/ that, while MPC, is considered the best, there was a player better for typesetting. I think it really was MPV. I doubt it's my comp because it's relatively new (got it in 2013). Thanks for your advice.
