alright so here's the thing:
my logitech wireless mouse (model M325) just stopped working all of a sudden.
my laptop seems to be unable to recognize the USB-receiver and also the receiver of my old mouse (same model). but i can still do other stuff like charge my phone on that usb port.
does anyone have any suggestions?
- battery is charged and battery power level indicator light on my mouse is green like normal.
- buying a new mouse won't help bc other mouse also doesn't work.
- usb port is also working because i can charge my phone etc.

I'm out of idea's so please help

Sounds like you fucked up your drivers for that mouse, try finding some new ones on the logitech website.

Lets also get a screenshot of your Device Manager with the mouse plugged in.
>>
- i also tried taking the receiver out of my laptop and putting it back in.
- took out the battery and put it back in.
- restarted my pc.

but still nothing, i just feel dumb but i don't know what i can do next

thanks for replying, i was thinking about a driver problem too and i only see pic related in devmgmt.
but all i can find on the logitech site is this 'logitech unifying' program that just says they can't see a connected receiver in my computer.

Literally every device you plug in needs a driver, but Plug'n'Play technology automatically downloads the drivers for you.

Lets see the whole Device Manager list, just need to find out if your computer can see the device, but the drivers aren't working, which would be an Unknown Device plugged in, or if possibly a pin is bent inside the USB dongle that's causing it to just not work.
>>
>>33409
it's not a bent pin because the usb dongle from my old mouse isnt working either
>>
>>33410
Have you tried plugging the dongle into a different USB port?
>>
>>33414
yes i tried 3 other usb ports but still no response
>>
i guess i'll just try to search online for other solutions or maybe a driver. anyways, thank you for trying to help
>>
hey it's OP from yesterday,
so i found out the problem IS with my usb ports because device management shows 3 'unknown devices' that, when looking at properties, are located at "Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 0100 (Microsoft)". but i still can't fix it. ideas? thanks

Install Windows 8 or later: Windows 7 doesn't support USB3.

Alternatively, get a USB2 card.
