Does anyone here know how to get a Hackintosh up and working with the latest version of El Capitan, or close to the latest version? I actually have a working Hackintosh running Yosemite Zone if it helps at all, but unfortunately it's stuck on some old version of Yosemite and I haven't been able to update it. It's been months since I've touched it but I want to give it another try now that a new version of OpenEmu is out... one that specifically requires El Capitan. :X

Bumping again. To put it in short, I have an old Core 2 Duo rig running Yosemite Zone. Can I install El Capitan on it, and if so, how? I don't care about preserving my bootloader or settings, in fact I'd actually prefer it to be as clean and close to stock as possible.

What exactly do you need to know?
I don't recommend updating the Yosemite, last time I tried that I needed to nuke the whole thing and install from scratch.
