I'm a sucker for some solid coming-of-age stuff. Any medium works for me. I'm not very well-read or familiar with TV and cinema, mostly just a weeb, but I'm trying to broaden that.

Recommendations don't have to be strictly archetypal coming-of-age stories either, anything that evokes the same ponderous, bittersweet mood works. It's hard to describe but you probably know what I'm talking about.

Some of my favourites in this vein are Wes Anderson movies, The Tatami Galaxy, Oyasumi Punpun, Life is Strange. Off to watch Boyhood right now.
