What's wrong with my monitor? It's an LG Flatron w2252tq. Right when I turn it on it'll display the LG logo and then turn off. If I try turning it on again, it won't turn on. I unplug it, plug it back in and still nothing. I have to completely switch rooms (makes no sense..) and then turn it on. It'll turn on then, but still turn off after the LG logo. Same thing repeats over and over. I'm guessing the problem is bad capacitors but I don't know for sure.

see if any of the caps are bulged, or try this

they seem to have hibernation issues.

Grab a multimeter and check voltages. Do a spot check for blown/bulging caps. Also use an ESR meter to further check for bad caps. Replace caps that fail these checks.
