Is there any way to stop windows 10 from updating? It's screwed up my normal laptop so badly the taskbar will not load and the desktop goes black after 5 minutes or so.

Thank you, but I can't access any of the options it outlines because the taskbar is busted and the keyboard shortcuts don't work (except ctrl alt del).

The op contains one answer. Personally, I like Windows 7. Only minor updates for five years on the last operating system I don't think is shitty.
