Hi /wsr/
Since yesterday my laptop only connects to the internet via ethernet cable and doesn't find any wifi network. I usually browse the internet by connecting it to a repeater because the router's signal is weak, which works both with wifi and ethernet.
I want to know what's wrong and if I can fix it

Ccleaner, Wise Registry Cleaner, Windows Defender, turning the machine off and on again, Windows troubleshooting function

>models
Laptop is Asus A551LN running Windows 8.1
Repeater is Asus RP-N14 Wireless Range Extender
Router is Netgear D1500

It can't. It doesn't even find the other five networks in the neighborhood that usually appear

It was never formatted since I bought it two years ago.

Try and reinstall the wifi driver. Goto device manager, find the wifi card model number, google drivers for that model, install...

Make sure you didn't do anything stupid.
- Make sure you didn't slide a physical switch on the laptop that disables wifi
- Make sure you didn't accidentally hit a key on the keyboard to disable wifi (often times its FN + a function key)
