Best free antivirus?
Avast/ bit defender 2014\
I had avast for a long time and never had any problems with it until I booted up one day and it had moved all my files to the chest. I ran all the scans and everything came up clean. fucked up a bunch of shit on my computer so I switched to bit defender 2014. had it a couple of months no complaints no viruses

ESET NOD32+MBAM+MSE
ESET is the antivirus which you keep on all the time. It's great at what it does, though it'll block some sites that are safe. You can just disable blocking on them, though.
MalwareBytes is a great supplement. You don't need to have it on at all times, but you can run a scan alongside ESET every week or so.
Microsoft Security Essentials is good to keep on your computer and it's free.
