None of the disgusting political shit. Emotional is okay if it is peppered on top, instead of being a selling point.
Please help me find shows that fit this description! I love adventures so much! I do not have real life friends, and my life is so boring. I need to watch more things like these to fill a gap in my life.

Over the Garden Wall is great! Adventure galore, and Avatar truly captures the "team on an adventure" dynamic.
Korra is okay, but it has too much politics and emotion for my taste.

Hunter X Hunter is probably one of the best adventure manga/anime out there and world building is one of it's strongest suits. Parts of it will have you in tears, though, and there's a lot of violence.
