hey guys i'm pretty new to building PC's and i wanted to give mine an upgrade i gayme but not like super hardcore and just want to get enough to make my machine not lag behind i dont want to spend anymore that $400 and i currently have
GPU: Geforce gt 640
CPU: amd athlon II X4 645
And 6 gigs of ram
I really don't know what to get but I've heard good reviews about the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti
I heard that my processor should actually be fine and to possible over clock it.
want to get at least 8 gb of ram what do you guys recommend? i was told to come here from /g/. thanks in advance.
also i'm not worried about the looks or sound of any parts i'm not picky.
in the mean time PC upgrade thread?.

im not build a new pc from scratch my case HDD PSU keyboard and mouse are fine.

get a gt 970 and whatever i5 processor intel is shitting right now. You'll have to get a new mobo too probably.
You can keep that RAM imo, but should try to get at the very least 8 GB, if it's in your budget.
