Check the cables or USB ports for damage

If it does not work, take it to someone tech savvy

I had the same problem awhile ago, though I'm afraid I don't remember exactly what I did. The problem wasn't the keyboard, though, it was the OS.

Anyways, get yourself a boot disc and try booting from that.
