Hey, i dont know if this is the right place for this but my computer has issues running video files on vlc. it sometimes just turns the whole screen gray or would just stop to buffer every so often. ive tried to mess around with the settings on it before but i didnt get anywhere. my pc specs are as followed
cpu:fx-6300
gpu-gtx 980
ram-8gb
os win 10

I only get this problem when I'm watching 720p+ things off of a thumb drive or piece of shit hard drive.
