So yeah I have this problem.

My Samsung Galaxy S2 has some kind of os bug and it shuts down after few seconds/minutes(not battery related because I tried to turn it on with a new battery and the same thing happens).

So what I'm wondering is that is it possible to recover my files from the phone? I don't want to hard reset the phone and lose all my data. I can keep the phone on when on Android system recovery mode.

Ist it even possible?

If I turn my phone on I don't have enough time to do all that before it shuts down.

I can only keep my phone on when it is on system recovery mode.

Been googling around.

Would something like Odin or Heimdall work?

I have no idea what those programs do. Can they recover files?
