Hey guys, I bought a new WiFi Card couple of days ago ,tl-wn881nd, but every time I plug it in my pcie port it shuts down my whole PC or starts up and shuts down within 5 minutes

Doesn't make any popping sounds but I think it shorts out

I would be surprised if the little extra power required for a wireless adapter would cause a problem.

I don't suppose you have a different slot to try it in?
