So i know that you get a lot of requests about resizing pictures and so on. How would i go about actually anti anialize an image, like make the edges smoother and loose a bit of the detail on the way.
I am talking about choosing something like a 2x2 , 3x3 ,4x4 option that defines the size of the area that is focused while the process is running.
Sorry if that sounds confusing, i usually did that in matlab before and believe that there should be an easier way. Like a program for it or an online site.

1 - Get the gimp and g'mic
2 - Filters > G'MIC... > Repair > Smooth [mean curvature]
3 - Change the settings 'til the preview looks like you want
4 - Wait for the changes to be applied
Best way to fix jagged edges.
And if you don't mean losing A LOT of detail in favor of cleaning out an image (ie a hard-compressed jpg), try Smooth [bilateral] before running Smooth [mean curvature].
