Hey guys typically I wouldn't nag for tech support shit but I'm stumped. I just recently had this garbage start appearing everywhere on my chrome. No idea what the source is because I haven't downloaded anything recently or visited any website out of the norm so I'm stumped. Already ran malwarebytes+ccleaner and it removed some stuff so i rebooted and still had it. I'm running a second scan again now and am trying to check my task manager processes for anything sketchy. Any ideas where to go from here?
Seperate poster here, I just got this shit today as well in my chrome browser, all these ad links and shit but im only noticing them on 4chan. I ran malwarebytes and hitmanpro, both twice , ccleaner and cleared out some garbage but im stuck with this still.
All the ads popping up say they're for a extension/addon called Search.Incognito, and googling that and you find resources on how to remove the Search.Incognito redirector or w/e is. They all just say basic shitty stuff that we both already did so I have no clue.
I think the fact we're both getting this hiccup on the same day browsing 4chan might be a link or something but idk hopefully someone with a comp sec background can chime in

Ah okay cool cool. Well not really but good to know I'm not the only person getting it. I first noticed it a few days ago on a wiki page but didn't think anything of it until I started noticing it on here too. I noticed it depends on what the hyperlinked word is to change the ad. Hopefully something comes through soon.
Alright after going through my extensions again and turning off all of the ones i've had for a while long before this, it looks like it's 4chan Plus embedding these links now.
