So I just bought Arkham Knight, and I'm having trouble running it. Every time I hit the play button, it appears in task manager, but doesn't actually open up. Once I end it from task manager and hit play again, the title window opens, but the game doesn't actually start and I get an "Arkham Knight has stopped responding" message. I've tried verifying the game cache, but nothing worked. Does anybody have any fix for this?
I'm pretty sure the port of Arkham knight is considered one of the worst of all times, there probably isn't a fix.

I've seen people saying that deleting the SystemSettings.bmi file or whatever it's called fixed it for them, but I tried that and had no luck.

I tried verifying the game's cache, didn't try reinstalling.
I tried updating my drivers, but for some reason the install said my computer can't handle the latest version. Will reinstall before I go to bed and see if that helps.

It's not a crack. I bought a steam key off the Humble store.
it happened with me too, but mine worked after waiting for a minute or 2. sometimes the game shows up in task manager but takes a while to launch.
Uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Same shit is happening, but I don't have to restart it in task manager.
Please help, anybody. I spent $15 on this, I don't want to have an unplayable game that I don't think I can even refund.
