could you help me with your knowledge, where is a good place to get emulators and Nintendo game roms, i've tried a few sites but most set off my ant-virus when i downloaded them. any tips help, ty in advance.

What's wrong with that one? I haven't gone there in a while because I already have all my favorite games archived. They got a lot of ads or something?

A good resource for knowing which emulators are good or recommended is this: http://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/Main_Page
For ROMs, I use Romulation. Though you need both an account and "points" to download bigger files (anything 1 MB and above, spending a "point" for every MB) the site is good besides that and gives pretty good speeds. Otherwise, I just download from another site. Most people probably wouldn't like it, but I've accumulated a lot of points just from making an account years ago, so it doesn't bother me.
Romhustler is good though, like the first anon suggested. I also suggest TheIsoZone, since it's a really good site for finding obscure PS2 or PC games.
