Made me really want to buy one.
Is it possible to watch my own downloaded videos like anime on it?
From what I've been reading, I can only watch streamed stuff like on websites or netflix.

well, it wouldn't make your anime VR, if that's what you're asking. however, i'm sure there's a theater view application available or something that would set your view in a room and display your videos on a virtual screen.

I dont recommend it, i tried the vive and wearing the headset for doing something you can do without it is not worth it. Your fov is drastically lowered by the goggles and the image quality is slightly blurry, the goggles as far as i can tell are not good substitutes to a monitor or a phone/tablet if image quality is a concern
