I'm mexican but I don't really watch mexican TV. It's mostly soap opera bullshit and some comedy shows. There are a few decent movies, though, if you'd like that. There is a comedy show that's really funny but I don't know how well the comedy would work in english.

Eh, I don't really mind man, as long as it's entertaining and subbed. What's the show?

Familia P.luche
(P.luche is a pun for peluche which means plushy)
It's like a sitcom about a really weird family in a really weird society. It's very, very silly. It's also very old, it started in like 2002, but it's long.
It has a very weird style, where everything is covered in colored fur and shit.
Apparently it's on hulu, but I'll look for some other place to watch it free.
Also I found this blog of some person who watches shows in spanish to learn the language, you might find some interesting things, or not. https://reducationjourney.wordpress.com/

Just noticed it's on Netflix in Mexico. Don't know about wherever you are but probably worth checking. "Nosotros los Nobles" is a pretty fun flick I recommend.
Also, check this out

that's a list of netflix codes in very specific categories, ctrl+f "mexic" and you will find a nice amount of mexican stuff. Or look for "spanish" and there is also a lot of categories for that. "Latin" also gives some results.
Get high and watch "El Santos vs La Tetona Mendoza".
It is imperative that you get high first, though.
