What should I watch and why? I have the following anime downloaded:
Sora no Woto
Haibane Renmei
Hanasaku Iroha
Mai Hime
Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru
Azumanga Daioh
Cross Ange
Honey and Clover
Kaiba
Kino no Tabi
Kino no tabi.
Because it's the best on that list, it's kind of weird that you'd download all of that without knowing anything about any of those shows.

I am a massive fan of Sora no Woto and I actually show rewatch it one of these days. While the last couple of episodes felt a bit rushed its still a very comfy show with a great setting/story. For the most part the characters are very cute yet the show still lets them have their serious moments. I feel that its a pretty unique show desu. I'd go into more detail but I'm pretty out of it in the moment.

I don't know why you have Cross Ange along with all those others. Most of those are known to be good, although I personally can't tell you which one or why.
