How does one go about getting free xbox live?

I don't want to bother with all the stupid payment sit and just want to play some BF4 on the xbone, since my PC broke down.
Not live but if you want to play on multiplayer you can create a VPN with your friends to create a lan party

However, if one were to seek out a 14-month card on eBay, one would find oneself paying half-price.
So one way one might think about it would be that one was getting free Xbox LIVE every other year.
If you have a friend with xbone you could work out a deal with him and have him sign his account in on your xbone and set yours as the home xbox it will share xbox live also shares the games as well so anything he buys on his xbox will automatically pop up on your xbone but you'd need to be pretty good friends to get a friend to agree to share everything.

If you can't pay for Xbox Live, you're probably underage so you're too young to be playing BF4. Although if you're desperate, I think you can sign up for one of those sites where you complete surveys to get free stuff. I'm fairly certain that XBL membership is a common reward on those sites.
