I checked system updates and it says that my phone is up to date but the recent update is from december. How long it takes until the new update shows up for download? My phone is a Nexus 5X.
I would guess it's up to your carrier to decide when to push the new update. This explains why some devices, though exactly the same get updates on different dates.
Try googling your carrier and the update and see if any news shows up as to when it might drop.

I've never been on this board so I am not sure of what the tone of my post should be, but the thing is I am going to buy a laptop that has Free Dos on it. I won't have any money left to buy Windows and I haven't ever installed it myself before. Is there any way I can work this out for free?

No. I don't know if it shows well on the picture, but the tip is cut in half.
I was playing Call of Pripyat yesterday, and when i closed the game, this green line popped up and hasn't gone away since. It shows up in the desktop, in-game, in the BIOS, and even when the monitor is the only thing turned on and not plugged into the computer. It's a Samsung SyncMaster SA550 23-inch, i've had it for a few years, and i assume it's dying.
I'd like to know if there's a chance it's not the monitor (got a new gtx 970 recently, was thinking it may be defective) and if there's a way to fix it or if i should be looking...

OP here. After pressing the post button, i opened the photo just to check the quality, and noticed there was only one line when i should be seeing two. The thing fucking vanished.

it's either the monitor or it's cables
try making sure the cables are fastened in tight enough and try different cables
if none of that works then the monitor is faulty

18 and in Uni, last girl I was with introduced me to your Mongolian Cartoons with AOT. I actually really enjoyed it, thought I would hate it. I enjoyed Spirited Away a lot as a kid. I liked them both for their great writing and story (in my eyes). I saw this on /co/ the other day. I'm away from my home computer.
I can't remember what website it was that would degrade jpegs through artifact. For some reason can't think of the right search terms either. Only have found programs and plugins, not the simple page where you upload files.
Also, /wsr/ is a really great idea. I don't always want to sift through requests for cum shops and porn.
