I think a better analogy would be running around behind enemy lines like Rambo in Red Orchestra 2. In fact, that game is much harder if you camp and try to play it safe - as if a death even matters in such a game. Just do the opposite of what your enemy expects you to do, even if it seems suicidal, and you'll be surprised to see how often it works.
