It's actually pretty simple. The reason why the houses are blown away is because they have long flat sides made out of flimsy pieces of wood, making them drag-sensitive and are observably blasted away by the shockwave. The cameras are much smaller and the casings are made out of much more durable materials, so not only does the shockwave have less of an effect on it, but it can also withstand it much better.

It's called evaporative cooling. It's primary mode of heat transfer is convection (technically also advection), you would become a popsicle because of that.
To get a feeling of about 1/1000 of the cooling, strip down, get a washcloth and some rubbing alcohol
Saturate the washcloth with the rubbing alcohol then wipe yourself down and stand under a fan
The fan doesn't cool you, it just speeds evaporation. If you do it correctly you should be almost showing signs of hypothermia
