I just looked and it's not even mono, nor stereo -- it's set to 6-channel surround. And the audio bitrate is 276 kbps @ 48 kHz. It seriously only needs to be stereo 45 kbps @ 44.1 kHz to sound good, and doing that would that give you 231 kbps more to add to the video bitrate (if you wanted it kept at the same duration)
if you dont believe me about audio quality, try encoding at 45kbps stereo yourself and see how much worse it sounds than the 276 kbps 6-channel. VORBIS is amazing. And people browsing dont care about the audio except for when you use too low a sampling rate (32 kHz and below) that makes everything sound distorted. Everyone just wants better picture quality.
The exception to this is for music webms of course, but even then you only *need* like 64 kbps audio
