I tell stories to my friends, First person roleplaying D&D style. I draw a lot of inspiration from some fantasy papers on this board. I'll post the ones I've done stories on, and ask that you post ones you'd like to see made into a story.

Okay I have to ask. What was the story with this one?
>>6512641
You should post the story.

So once a week your friends gather to listen to you tell a story? What kinda weird shit is that?
>>6512693
Maybe they have an orgy after the stories?

Reminds me of The Games third movie, where the community got to decide on game content for a card game and they had WW1 or 2 era soldiers in a fantasy series.

The Gamers.... My bad

It's much too long and it's not written down or I would. I do weekly writing to fill in missing plot but it doesn't make a lot of sense without context.

It's D&D style so I'm not so much telling a story as narrating a world they explore. It's nerdy but it's fun so I don't mind
Thread is feeling slightly off topic now
>>6512704
but it wasn't off topic. We were interested in the process of telling the story.
>>6512628
This is good. Any more in this style
lol friends

I used to do this all the time, basically D&D but with no rule system or paper just imagination, intuition, and everyone's trust in the 'game master'

I once did this for a whole class of junior english students I had to teach. We RP'd Lord of the Flies and I as the teacher was the "DM" (of course I didn't present it as D&D so the normies didn't even understand they were supposed to be upset and everyone really enjoyed it).
I was fired a year later, but I think I taught those kids some valuable lessons about intergroup interactions.

That's sick AF, why were you fired?
