There's a section called Look and Feel in your nova launcher settings, go there and enable transparent notification bar. It will make your home button bar transparent
Er ma gawd! Been look for this soo long! Had the transparency working. After Marshmallow upgrade it reverted. Missed the option in looks and feels man.
