Bioshock numero uno: damn near flawless pacing, atmosphere, and visual style, gameplay tighter than ur mum's butthole, and all of it punctuated with moments that still gimme the warm fuzzies, like beating splicers into bloody smears on the walls to 'Waltz of the Flowers'.

I love FTL. It's a challenging game with a great sound track. Every time I play my game lasts longer. Reached about an average 1 hour play troughs. Still haven't beaten it.

So many good screenshots from that game, Ravenholm was a scary motherfucker.
Skyrim takes second place for uncapped moddability and giant storyline.
Great memories playing WoW. Haven't even touched it in over a year now, but I met some really great people and had some really great times in that game.
it has to be Portal 2, nice, well written storyline, fine voice acting, original gameplay, it was a joy to discover the original game, and now with the community tests, its usable life is huge.

Dragon Age II because it had an interesting story and a pretty good combat system. It was also the first Dragon Age game I played, and the second Bioware game. Plus, I fell in love with Merrill cause one of those kinds of sad, sad people.

Also, tied for favorite is Shadowrun Hong Kong. I enjoy the combat system, it's fairly free when it comes to RPG elements, interesting story.
Honestly, I just loved the environment, the setting, the enemies, the allies, the flexibility of the factions, anyone can be your enemy at any time. I loved the weapons, I loved the clothing. Modding it gave it basically limitless potential, more guns, more armor, more quests. The DLC is one of the best story/quest lines I've ever had the pleasure of playing in a video game.

Metal Gear Solid, because of this boss fight.
The story is absolutely outstanding. Amazing angle on the "american dream", no happy ending, great humor, surprisingly good acting. It'd be my favorite game just for the story, but it has great gameplay and online as well. Nothing comes close.
Play through it once every year since it's release.

Metroid Prime: Or How I Learned to Stop Whining and Accept the Gamecube
I was in a feud with my younger brother over what new console we should get: the PS2 or the Gamecube. I was in the PS2 camp, he was in the GC camp.
Turns out we got the GC for christmas, which was bundled with MP1 that had a demo for MP2. Although I bitched and whined, I eventually relented and managed to get first dibs because I was older (10 over 8).
I was sucked in within the first 15 minutes. The graphics, atmosphere, soundtrack, gameplay, everything was fucking awesome to my young mind. It still holds a special place in my heart and I'm really fucking concerned with how Nintendo is moving with the series today.
