I want custom lockscreens for Windows 7, and Google gives fuck all for searches. Apparently the size limit for such images is 256kb.

Editing the images isn't hard, as long as they're fairly close to 1920x1080, though 1280x800 is definitely too small to look good expanded. I want as close as that size as possible to avoid any quality loss from scaling up.

Well since you know how to do it already then you know that, that program reszies any image to the right size. So you don't need to find images in the 250kb range, but since you know so much you also know that you yourself can resize any image in paint or photoshop to 250kb
