I'm normally not to creeped out by painting, but god damn.
This guy literally paints what I'd call accurate depictions of what Hell would be, almost Dante-esque.

Supposedly he was a pretty normal guy, too. Everyone who knew him said Bekinski was just an overall friendly, outgoing, and nice person. He had no formal art training, and merely painted what came to mind.

He grew up in post WW2 Poland, and in cold war Poland people were afraid of nuclear war. Many regard his paintings in that way.
He was afraid of silence and would sleep with a vacuum running.
And he was randomly murder/mugged by some teen.
As great as Les Edwards was in the necronomicon, this guy would have been perfect. Is there anywhere in particular his art is shown?
