Just got a new laptop for my birthday, and my ex recommended that I go on here to find some cool backgrounds. (This is my first thread.)

Generally one is expected to contribute a few to start the thread off. If you don't have any, even just finding a few you like off of Google Images and posting them will do. Otherwise it just looks like a request thread.
Anyway, what kind of wallpapers do you want, OP? Nature photography? Movies? Video games? Minimalist? And what resolution? The more details you provide, the better we can help you.

My new laptop has 1920 x 1080 resolution. I am indeed into "retro" gaming and busy landscapes (not necessarily just nature).

I guess it's really the following: gaming, busy cityscapes, and semi-busy landscapes.
