I put music, tv, and game papes in their own folders.
For stuff that's just cool I have a general "aesthetic" folder that I go into more specific subfolders within. (Like I have one that's just cool rocks.)
All into one folder :^)
Mine are all in 1 folder, mainly because what I save becomes a rotation for my desktop wallpaper, to prevent them becoming boring too quickly...
I've been meaning to name them with themes to help organise them in the folder but meh.

I used to have them all into very specific categories, around 30/40 folders. Nowadays i have around 15/20 max. The less split up it is, the easier it is to find the next wallpaper, otherwise you're stuck going through all these folders and it sucks.

All in one folder but i have a naming system, so like a generic animal one will be Animals(next number) then any other tags like ero (for eroctic) or (porn) ect. to find things i might want.

A folder named wallpapers with subcategories like Science Fiction, low polygon, sexy etc.
from time to time backing the folder up on 2 additional hdd

i do a similar thing, except its a staging folder separate from my papes, so that i can dump from other drives, phone, etc. Otherwise all subcategories are put in their respective folder, and subcategories with 10+ papes get their own subfolder.
All into one folder called wallpapers with a sub folder for smaller resolutions.

The wallpapers folder hasn't been sorted/filtered yet so it's separate from the main folder.

this is what i do. i name mine with themes too but its an abbreviated identifier like what series its from and then a number. wallpapers i dont have a real category for i just use WP

just in1 folder and sort them by date. just remember when u saved it. also a nice storybook of your interests. can still find the correct 1 after 5 years of adding...sortoff
