What I did was used Foldersync to a file in my Google Drive account with my local text file/to-do list, and then had Tasker read the local file and store each line to its own variable (such as todo1, todo2, etc. for each line). I’m not very strong in picking colors so these are just general guidelines rather than strict palettes.This theme truly could go either way with dark or light in my opinion, so maybe a lighter/warmer grey would be nice too. I then just used Java to parse it and store the information I needed in variables that I could then retrieve/store in Tasker, and then send them to KLWP through Tasker. If you've got any questions feel free to ask, I know that's probably not the clearest explanation but it's certainly the most streamlined I could write up.

Untrue! You can use third-partly lockscreen apps, some of which should disable or have an option to disable the lock screen status bar, even without root. (Can confirm since I'm using an S5 a well and while using Zui Locker, I have no status bar on the lock screen.) Zui Locker, WidgetLocker (though it's now deprecated I think), etc. Loads of them, with different levels of security options. KWGT works with the lockscreen I think but I could be wrong as I've never used it. Google around, there's lots of lists and the like for this exact thing.

Anything considered good is going to be based on general principles of design. Based on that, I can say that you have a lot of elements competing for attention. I would reduce the size of the info text so that you're using at most, two sizes of the same font. Those blocks of white space between the text are awkward, and if you made all the letter lowercase or all uppercase, you could fill those spaces with some of that information.
I would look at getting icons that are smaller IF you keep the text large. Otherwise, they're not bad. Maybe a different set, though. The icons aren't uniform in size or design.
The wallpaper is really cool, and it's what keeps me interested. I think knocking the size down of everything else is a good idea.

Nice wall, seems absolutely barren though. I'd personally get rid of the status bar but that's just me. I'd definitely get rid of the gradients on the top and bottom and aim for colors that are not so dead and dry. You can get a nice "white" by using an off-white like the wall in the wall (hah), a nice "black" by using the dark grey in her skirt, etc. No need to use stark white, grey, and black. Maybe add something else too, the icons are hueg and they seem kinda unnatural.

First you make a text box for whatever you need, set fixed font height and choose some height to make it look nice when text is short.
Then you set fixed width and choose some width to make it looks nice when text is long.
After you set the values, you need Formula to change fixed width/fixed height. Using tc(len, str) you can get length of the text. So the final formula will look like if( tc(len, STR) > X, SINGLE_FIXED_WIDTH, SINGLE_FONT_HEIGHT)
Where STR is formula to get the text you want and X is the number of characters that exceeded will change text layout to fixed width. Is depends on font, container proportions and type of characters you are using(ASCI or CJK)

Both colors work, I think, this feels slightly more cohesive. I'd again suggest using an off-white (like the pins in her hair) rather than the stark white you're using now (#ffffff). Try using the clock padding option (so if you're using KLWP, hh instead of just h) so that 4:00 becomes 04:00, see if that helps. I'd also resize the text to be a tad smaller.

Stuff like not using #000000 and #ffffff (unless going for super stark design) is more what you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules. I'd urge you to look up some design tutorials or theory, not even anything in-depth but just some basic write-ups. It can really help. If the color is too close to white it may not be noticeable indeed, but usually it looks better than pure white (and is less harsh).

The clustered time and date looks weird, especially with the am being in front of the time, and the temperature just sort of sticks out awkwardly. Also, your icons are a bit small as well. Nova Launcher. I make gesture down = go to page 2, gesture up goto page 1. The wallpaper provides the vertical motion, and the apps use a fade out transition so you can't really see that I'm scrolling horizontal.

Change the font, the icons and the navbar icons.
Maybe change the battery color for a more desaturated green, so it harmonizes with the other color.
Also, make the top color darker, so it doesn't hurt the eyes as much.

I have no clue what to do with my clock/battery bar bit. It's just a placeholder for how. I'm also not happy with the box that the sakamoto and crow icons are sitting on. I also haven't cleaned up the icons yet. I just can't figure out what I want to look like in the end. help me
