You've done nothing wrong mate. Your not on the vector thread so I already knew. I'm just not experienced enough to cut her out. It's made to look like a painting and those are hard to cut out, especially when the background blends so well into the dress/hair.

How were you able to get the outline so clean? I still have parts of the boot and knee padding if I use magic wand?

I used the magic wand with a tolerance of 32 to delete the white background. It didn't grab everything, though, so I then went around with the eraser and manually cleaned up the edges. Then I noticed it still had some white outlines so I added a black inner glow with:
-Opacity: 75%
-Choke: 0
-Size: 1
Inner glows and inner strokes (if your outline is clean and done with something anti-aliased like the pen tool) work really well to hide messy edges and outlines.

Pic related is the final edit of the render that I decided to use for the last versions at the end of the post with adjusted levels, contrast and such. This version has a very high contrast so it might not be for everyone.
Anyway, I hope there is something that works for you here :)
