Haven't posted in quite a while. Here's my most recent.
I like this a lot, I've been using the stock wallpapers of the different android versions since 4.0 on my Nexus 5 and never bothered to do themes and stuff.

About as easy as it gets. Follow the newbie guide and you should be able to get to this point easily. Only 3 real things needed: Custom launcher, icon pack, and a custom widget. The rest is a wallpaper.

Hes talking about using a mono space font. Where every character takes up the same space. The letter "i" will take up just as much room as a "k". Text is easier to center with them but aesthetically its not as nice looking as your standard sans font. For an example compare "Droid Sans" and "Droid Sans Mono"

Go to Settings > Advanced > HomeHelper:
HomeHelper Component, and check it. When the dialog comes up, use WL HomeHelper and set it to "always." Voila. Only problem is if you're using another launcher (Nova, Apex, etc.) it'll kinda fuck with the home button usage you've set up with it.

Lot of stuff hasn't been updated since iOS 9 uses a weird file structure apparently. 9.1 is out so unless you get the phone with 9.0 - 9.0.2 you can't JB. I got mine with 9.0 so i'm good for now. On a different note, 4k video and picture quality is godlike. Battery life is pretty good imo coming from the 5. I'll update with more info as I dive deeper since nothing is really working yet.

The vectors should look noticeably sharper, an anon on the Image Modification Thread did a much better job cutting and upscaling them than I did.
I changed the app drawer to vertical, thought it went better with the minimal icons.

Again, if you want to learn, don't look for premade shit as an end solution. If you want to look at it to take it apart, see how it ticks, then sure, but if you're looking for "do everything for me but make it look cool" then check around for pre-made themes on google. I believe there are some on Reddit, as well. That logic is just really faulty though.

Get rid of the page indicator, figure out an icon layout besides "zig zag then dock out of nowhere" and change the app drawer icon as well. Black is typically an awful color to use as a background but if it works for you, keep it. Personally don't like those icons but to each their own.

I'm using Apex and was thinking of factory resetting my old Galaxy S2. I am also using UCCW and some icons.
Anyway of you backuped and restored Apex/UCCW. I guess it is pretty straightforward. Any thing in particular I just know?

I don't think apex backups last through a factory reset. This might be outdated but last I messed with apex backups they are only work as long as the app data isn't deleted. Unless you make a backup of the app data (this normally requires a rooted phone and an app like titanium backup) when you reset that will be wiped. Although you might be able to transfer it to your external sd card, or a computer. Its saved to the following path: /Android/data/apexlauncher/apex_settings
As for what is restored iirc its just the grid dimensions and icons. I've always had to manually replace my uccw widgets.

Okay, so here's my current theme I'm working with. It's my first theme that I've ever done, and I learned a lot from some of the other rices I've seen in these threads, so it might show in this one. I went with a Nisekoi theme, but tried to make sure I used only Vectors to keep the same style. Everything I did in Photoshop and Kustom, and the way the 3 pages work is that they slide ontop of eachother, from right to left. So for clarification, Onodera is my home screen and Chitoge slides ontop of her. Anyways, on the third screen, the three circles below Tsugumi are buttons, and when pressed, they show different information. The one on the left is system information, the middle is weather, and the right is network information. Each of these buttons actually changes depending on the conditions, and the one I'm most proud of is the Wi-Fi Icon. It actually increases and decreases the amount of bars on the wifi icon depending on how good of a signal you have. Also when you're disconnected, it switches over to showing your signal bars and saying what network you are on, such as 4g, E, H+ and the like. Lastly, because I go out in public I like to hide my powerlevel, so when I press the settings button or the three dots on the first screen, the images change to be what you see on the second row, so I can show my phone to people without being weird. The phone I made this on is an LG G3 with a 1440 by 2560 screen, so the pictures and everything are quite sharp, but unfortunately I had to lower the quality by resizing the image so I could post it here. I would have put it inside of an LG G3 frame but I couldn't find any pictures to use, but for reference, that is what it is. Anyways, I hope you guys like it!

You can do whatever you want, music control isn't a bad idea, it's just the general randomness of the theme I'm not a fan of. It just doesn't go together. An isolated diamond shape on the left with a line going down it, a line of icons on the right, and nothing to tie them together thematically at all. Get different icons, and attempt to do something with the wall other than put a column of icons opposite the main point of your wall. Battery's alright, though.

Text is a bit hard to make out when it blurs in with her collar and kimono pattern. The random circle in the bottom right also is kinda weird. The two fonts don't go together well at all, either, sorry.

Very neat but I'd make sure to get rid of the super dark drop shadow and work on spacing between elements (i.e. the distance between the song text and character box) as well as general styling of elements. Consider maybe making the black border around the boxes a slightly lower opacity so that it's a darker [blue/red/yellow] rather than pure black. The text buttons are a nice idea but I'd suggest either all caps or all lowercase, and the icons in the third screen could be improved. Circles on a banner don't look all that great. Moreover, on the first screen the brown looks just a bit too yellow for that blue. I'd use the redder brown in her hair.

This looks very simple but very nice on the eyes, the icons and clock look really good with that background in my opinion. The only thing I would change is the grey icon it sticks out. Overall I really like this though.

Nice, quite empty on top and bottom but I can imagine you tried to work with the softkeys so it makes sense. The clock's teal is too bright though, and is too close to her -- I'd move it to the left a bit so it's more centered between the left side of the screen and her arm. Moreover the space between the gallery/media and google/MAL icon is kinda out of place, I'd adjust that a bit. Otherwise the icons don't stand out too much with that wall, which is good! There's also a black line on the very bottom of the screen but I'm not sure what that is.

I ended up giving up on those vectors. for now.
I've found it hard to find three matching vectors that I like, so I've decided to switch to a single vector layout and change a couple animations to suit it.
I'm slowly leaning to vectorize anime in illustrator, so i can just make my own from any render I wish, hopefully ill be able switch back to a triple vector layout in the future.
Will probably post the results in the next thread.
