No clue. The first tank is a German Panzer and the one behind is a Sherman so the artist was probably autist and just picked two of the most famous tanks in history without thinking about the history behind them.

I think they're going by the gun they're american. The girl is holding a BAR. I dunno about the man on the first tank but judging on the grip he looks like he's holding a Thompson M1928. The first tank is a German Panzer IV which was probably taken hostage and used for . And the consecutive tanks are Sherman.

That's a Bren gun, albeit an awkwardly drawn one. You can see the pistol grip behind her head. The British used Shermans and M1928 Thompsons through lend-lease. Pc related is a Panzer IV, notice the differences between the turret of the boxy Cromwell and the more angled Panzer IV as well as the location of the commander's hatch. The helmets are drawn as American M1s, I'll give you that. I think the artist was trying to portray a Mk III helmet but failed to do so.

There's no way someone could screw up a mark 1 2 or 3 helmet that much to make it an M1, I'd say it's most likely due to confusion on the artist's part. Taking them as British, though, it could be from somewhere else in the commonwealth, Canada for instance, wore almost the same uniform.
