I might get one for the novelty factor, but I'm more interested in the controllers since they're Wiimote compatible and I already use my Wii for NES games anyway. Probably be better than getting an overpriced NES to Wiimote converter, I just hope they feel the same, especially coming from Nintendo themselves.

I'm not sure how the VC version works but that would mean more effort making it emulate FDS games. Though there are roms of pirate carts they could tweak.

It'd be even easier to buy a used Wii and spend ten minutes setting up homebrew and an NES emulator, plus you get 240p output. Hell, it'd probably be cheaper to get a Wii and new NES controller than the NES mini.

Dragon warrior is a huge omission, there were all four of them actually released in the west, and there isn't even one of them here.
Of course RPGs shouldn't be the emphasis, but a handful of action hybrid ones, including Castlevania 2, is a kinda twisted showing.

They don't have Tecmo Super Bowl on the NES Mini because Nintendo would have to buck up the $$$ to EA Sports for the NFL license.
They should put a proprietary card slot on it and then release more compilations. God knows there are more than enough games for it that they already own or could get the rights to for next to nothing.
